Yeah. They got me a couple of years ago. A jerkoff
in a different state somehow managed to get a hold of my info and started a utilities account
under my name. As you can imagine the thief defaulted but what really ticked
me off were the bill collectors calling me saying I owed them whatever amount.
The Kroll identity theft investigator who handled the case subsequently informed me that was downright bogus.
The man stated they are able to see from their records who I
was and the place I lived. In a nutshell they were aware it was not me but hey all they
were interested in was getting paid. Who was whom was
completely immaterial.
