Thank you for this very informative article. We have been land owners in Empire Michigan for over 50 years and have experience the rise and the fall of Lake Michigan. It was very useful to see the dates that you published in this article to better assess what’s going on right now. We are equally concerned about the definition of high water and people walking or trespassing on our property on Lake Michigan. It’s clear that this is not a cut and dry issue. It would be helpful if there were more precise rules in place.Thank you again .
