I’m not quite sure I appreciate the stance of LVR, as they are the ones embracing, promoting and growing the seasonal/high rate rental and sales culture in the area. There’s nothing wrong with that business model in places that have a balanced community structure, but something’s gotta give around here!
And while I do appreciate that the township wants to improve Glen Arbor park, pickleball courts and fire pits seem somewhat wasteful when the town infrastructure is severely flawed. Seriously, pickleball? They do indeed need to get their priorities straight. Of course because a chunk of wealthy residents will always want to protect the inflated values of their properties, and their new pickleball courts, it will be hard to progress towards a more balanced community.
