WOW, I do not know how old you are but it sounds like you were there.
My family and I were migrant workers in the 50’s,ltomatoes in Ohio, cherries in traverse city and cotton in west Texas. Believe me, migrant conditions were the same all over this great country.
Your editorial is so true that it hurts me to read it .
I have been looking for a news paper photo of a float called “salute the migrants that make this harvest possible” it was taken during the cherry festival parade in traverse city 1954, 55 or 56.Can you help.
