I’m fourteen and I go shopping with my friends all the time to the mall but I’ve always been self conscious when they go into Victoria’s Secret. One day I asked my best friend that’s like a sister to me why she needed to have these things from only Victoria’s Secret and she said “because I’m old enough and it makes me feel sexy.” That really bugged me and my reply I think took her off guard. I sat down next to her and told her this, “why do you feel the need to feel sexy at age fourteen?It’s not like your dating anyone and even if you were you wouldn’t be having sex with them, would you?” She looked uncomfortable for a minute before she sighed and shook her head. “Yeah, I guess your right.” I still wonder why she looked so uncomfortable when I asked about her that last question. I personally think it’s insanity that young teenage girls like me are feeling like they need to feel sexy at this age. Like seriously, Look at the models! They’re like in their twenty’s!Not fourteen or fifteen.
