Welcome to Michigan and to the beautiful Sleeping Bear Dunes National Lakeshore. For all the trail walking, bike riding and the ‘sitting and just saying Ahhh’ crowd we wish you a great tenure leading ‘our’ park forward. We have great affection and reverence for this Lakeshore and our region. You have been given the governance of what we consider as the most important resource in our lives. It was created out of a very historical and shipping area that we all respect and wish to honor. We enjoy it’s quiet, it’s dark skies, it’s natural beauty and it’s fantastic sunsets. Welcome to you and your family, to our family.
