I found a ton of glass last year at the edge of the sand bar on Loon Lake. I told the people I was with to pick it up so someone didn’t get cut or injured on it. Later I found out that we could have been cited by the Park Service because they don’t believe you are cleaning up after someone else, just that you have the glass. They also tried to arrest a friend without smelling his breath or testing him in any way just because he cleaned up the empty cans on the river. “Well you have 50 cans in your kayak so you must be drunk…” common sense isn’t so common.
