Christine S I am with you on the better terrain, and opening a terrain park. The steep grade and vertical height are the best in lower Michigan. I recall skiing there in the 70’s and 80’s. It will draw the people who like to be on the hill. Making money however, is tricky. The larger populations down state like to stop at crystal for the first class accommodations ( crazy high prices ) and family friendly ski school. driving an extra hour up M22 in heavy snow could be hard sell. He should buy the Homestead and join the two resorts like Shanty Creek did with Shanty Creek & Schuss. They have developed a very nice year round following, with lots of amenities, and are printing money.
