It would almost be worth moving to Suttons Bay to vote for Dean. His long and compassionate career as an attorney is such a bonus to the area. It would be difficult to count how many of our local citizens he has helped over the years. There is no question he loves and honors this area, and he is not afraid to speak truth to power. A side bonus is that if he is elected, Dean will make sure that CC meetings are not boring affairs. Dean was raised in farm country and carries that kind of deep land-connected wisdom with him into every challenge he meets. I regard him as a treasure of kindness, insight and compassion linked to a very sharp mind that only seeks to make the world a better place.
