Comment on National Park faces major decisions as spotlight focuses on D.H. Day farm by John Public

I can’t believe they sold it to a private owner in the first place, when they knew its historical significance. The barn looks nice but the house doesn’t, and judging by all the other properties the NPS has cleaned up and resurrected, I can’t help but think that property would look much better, long ago, if the NPS called the shots. Tell him to do something to refresh the house or boot him outta there, paying him fair market value. He’s had more than enough time to fix things. Does he even live there? Never see much going on around there. Sorry Lewis!
