Comment on Hungarian born Lou Batori dies at age 107 by Dick Brooks

As I approach my 81st birthday which is July 31, I read that Lou Bartori had the same BIRTH date,
I just returned from Squaw-Alpine Meadows , where I earned medals in the 80-84 group at NASTAR, Salom and Giant Salom.
At this comperition my pal Gil Fujimoto, 85, was honored with the Lou Bartori
Award. Gil and I met at the Steamboat Springs 2006 NASTAR NATIONAL CHAMPIONSHIPS AND HAVE SPENT a few weeks together skiing each year since.
Lou is a genuine inspiration. Now I have a new goal to see if I can approach Lou’s level of making runs.
