The sign is terrible on many levels — aesthetics, cost, precedent, light pollution, safety (these signs are known to be hyper-distracting), etc. It’s absolutely STUNNING that anyone would have conceived of this idea, let alone get others to support it. What are GA Township leaders thinking? Or maybe that’s the problem…there wasn’t any thought about this decision…just as there apparently was insufficient public input. Is GA Township devoid of responsible leaders? If the ‘deciders’ who installed this glowing trash on a stick want this kind of nonsense, move to the Vegas strip. Meanwhile and as a longtime GA Township taxpayer and part-time resident, take down the sign! Beautify GA by removing this glowing trash on a stick!
