What a great idea! However, what typically happens is the part-time out-of-towners snatch these types of properties up as a more ‘economical’ way to have a place “up north”. Is there any way to legally write in the ordinance, or by-laws or is there any loophole that these can only be purchased by those living in them, and that they must be year-round residents? The same has happened in TC. The thought behind these projects is great, the outcome doesn’t always match up though.
