The Millwrights are putting the machinery in Mr (Thomas) Kelderhouse’s new flouring mill. They are superintending the building of the new dam. – GRAND TRAVERSE HERALD, MAY 26,1881

Kelderhouse’s new flouring mill is running, and he is well pleased at the way it works. There are two runs of stone and the third is now being put in for feed grinding. – GRAND TRAVERSE HERALD, JULY 21, 1881

Mr Kelderhouses mill (GLEN ARBOR MILLS FAMILY FLOUR) is again busy grinding new wheat, and i understand the two new mills, one in Centerville, and one near Burdickville are fast approaching completion. Mr Kelderhouse is building a nice commodious shed for teams near his grist mill. He is also about to build a new blacksmith and carpenter shop near his dock and store in Port Oneida. Mr. A. W. Harwood is the builder. – GRAND TRAVERSE HERALD, AUGUT 31, 1882

Times are lively at Mr. Kelderhouse’s big grist mill notwithstanding the new mills around it. The old reliable, praiseworthy miller, Charles Dumbril told me last week he had ground 800 bushels of grain of custom grinding last week, and had averaged 500 bushels per week all the fall and winter. Mr. Kelderhouse is now buying logs to stock his new saw mill. – GRAND TRAVERSE HERALD, DECEMBER21, 1882
