Wow. Cannot believe I happened upon this. What a wonderful story! I was a childhood friend of Mary’s in Sault Ste. Marie. We both lived on Davitt Street. I have never forgotten sitting in her Mom’s VW bus reading Archie Comic Books and chewing bubble gum.
