Loved reading your so eloquently written story about your father, his love of the land and his legacy, which you have, it seems continued.
I am the granddaughter of Mary Stocking Barnes, your dads sister. Many summers I remember, as a child and as an adult, in awe of Sleeping Bear Dunes and Northern Michigan. Having been born in Cadillac, it allowed us to enjoy the wonder of nature, as much as we wanted.
