I live in Detroit but I’m glad to see local residents speaking up to their law enforcement agencies about how their indiscriminate enforcement of Governor Whitmer impacts them. Law enforcement, in my understanding, serves the entire public. Some duties are ministerial and some are discretionary. Using the state’s police power is not discretionary.
