Comment on Borkovich, fellow county sheriffs defy Gov. Whitmer, claim they will selectively enforce State’s social distancing executive order by Hammer

Most of you who are attacking the sheriffs don’t understand why they wrote the letter in the first place.
The governor has issued unclear mandates which is causing confusion to law enforcement
e.g.Allowing boating without motors vs not allowing boating with motors. Doesn’t sound like she cares about keeping social distancing. Sounds more like discrimination against boaters with motors. If you issue a no boating mandate then don’t have exceptions. This causes confusion.
People are calling the sheriffs offices turning in their neighbors who had more than two vehicles in their driveways. People want the sheriffs to investigate if the people were in violation. Sounds like Nazi Germany to me. Turning in your neighbors. This is not America……
Still allowing marijuana sales, alcohol sales and abortions. So allowing killing of innocents drug and alcohol addiction but not allowing one to travel to their home in the woods. Sounds quite discriminatory to me.
Governor is arbitrarily deciding what can and cant be tolerated. This is causing confusion.
Cut the Sheriffs some slack.
