Are you inured in your belief, simply because you can’t find it codified in MI State Law?
Or are you willing to accept there may be some room for discernment?
Attorney General Nessel seems to believe it exists:
“As with similar offenses, those law enforcement officers on the front lines have a reasonable amount of discretion when responding to complaints. We trust that discretion is being used wisely to protect the public health of the communities and state they serve.” ~ AG Nessel
I hope you’re not attempting to prove a negative?
“People aren’t dying because they’re following the rules” (When have they ever)
1) No they aren’t. Not everyone distances, not everyone masks, not everyone stays inside.
2) You have no possible method of even attempting to prove that.
It’s clear I’m not proving anything to you. But we’re not the only ones here.
So, while you’re happy to infer intent where you can’t prove any exists, (Political bias by the Sheriff)
I’ll point out I’ve been documenting my claims, all along.
Oh, wait… That is when the Glen Arbor Sun isn’t censoring my posts. Let’s try again.
*** Hospitals throughout Michigan are laying off hospital staff for lack of Covid Patients.
(You’ll accept the word of NPR won’t you?)

If rational logic now qualifies as snake oil for you, then the problem is not mine.
And as if on cue:
The Governor’s new Executive Order 2020-59 released today, SUPPORTS my conclusions.
The ban on motor boating, golfing, gardening, painting etc. has now been LIFTED.
Perhaps there’s room for agreement here …. or is partisanship your only remaining defense?
