Comment on Four sheriffs, one state lawmaker, one April 15 protest in Lansing by Alice Littlefield

I am personally rather disturbed by Volk’s assumption that the lives of old people are worthless and therefore no one needs to consider whether violating the Governor’s emergency orders results in their deaths. I assume he feels the same way about younger people who are medically compromised. Or perhaps it’s the fact that death rates are much higher for blacks than whites, thus achieving the right-wing goal of preserving the power of white-majority voters. I am glad the Governor has done her best to keep me and all of us alive.
