First, because this project is partially funded by a federal grant, MDOT is the agency taking bids swarding the contract that includes a time line for completing the contract, not the Road Commission.
So other than securing the grant and providing engineering support, we have no input on scheduling. .
Second, Goslin Czubak does not provide construction services. Gosling Czubak was hired by the Road Commission to provide construction engineering support as we no longer have a professional engineer on staff. Another contractor was hired to do the actual construction. The contract was supposed to be awarded back in February but was delayed due to COVID.
