Comment on Leelanau County’s iconic Bicentennial Barn gets enthusiastic new owners with local roots by Larry and Debbie Besanson

What an amazing story of the history of the barn and the families that owned it! My husband and I have been coming up there for around 30 years and I am a photographer and was amazed at the two murals that were painted as we traveled up there throughout the years. We were very saddened when the farm became empty! We used to buy eggs and fruit from there every year when we would come up in the summer 🙂 So excited for your family to come back in and restore this beautiful corner of history
