By Whitefish Point (MI UP) is one of the oldest cranberry farms. Cranberries growing just a sandbar away from the majestic Lake Superior. Michigan has the Mighty Mac that makes the Golden Gate bridge look like a cake walk. The Labor Day Bridge walk–it is beautiful to walk across the Straits while the sun rises from Lake Huron to greet you. Spend the day having fun, stop along the northern Lake Michigan shoreline and watch the sun set. pull your bottle of wine out of the sand/water and have a toast to our left mitten (Wisconsin). I thank Wisconsin (my 2nd favorite football team) for coming through and beating OSU, –and yes, that nasty team MSU, when I want them to. You are a great neighbor and other half. Now, if we could the selfish others on board to tackle the Asian Carp issue, we could help save what we love.
