I am the son of Hazel (Stocking) Kropf and enjoyed the writeup of Pierce”s Passion. thank you for this little bit of history. I have taken the drive many times and as recently as this July. I was born and raised in Lowell Michigan and now reside in Alexandria, Virginia. Michigan will always be my home and especially northern Michigan. My great great Uncle was Rix Robinson, also a pioneer of Michigan.
