Debbie… PS: If you don’t believe the trail was partially funded with Federal Money…. please check the many articles that have appeared in the press about the work that both of our United States Senators from Michigan did regrading obtaining the dollars. Or you can simply call or email their offices and ask for the details on the funding… or better yet… ask them in person at the ribbon cutting ceremony scheduled for July 2 at 10:00AM, I believe to be held at or near the Dune Climb parking lot area. To my knowledge, both of our Senators who have been instrumental in raising the funds are supposed to be there.. of course their schedules are subject to change based upon national events.
