Sorry, Kelly, but I have to disagree with you. The article is focused on affordable homes for workers, not affordable housing for people wanting a vacation home. Mr. Peppler’s comments imply that people needing affordable housing don’t want to live in Maple City. He, of course, is wrong, and it should come to no surprise that people living in Maple City find his comments offensive.
The easy, simple solution is pay people more and they will come work for you. Then, do what every other business in the world does: pass the cost onto the consumer.
