After the cataclysmic loss of trees on 8/2/15 from storm, it truly pains me to know that thousands more may come down for last trail leg. Anyone that lives around here sees the sparse usage from Glen Arbor northward. When the paved Low Bay View hiking trail I was shocked; this trail was an intimate, tree lined trail and in the winter, the snow laden branches arched over the narrow, forest path. Now, a 30 foot wide paved road covers this trail.
Marilyn Miller if you have the constituents to join in a venue to meet with the Park Superintendent, Scott Tucker, I and my family are glad to participate. Time is short to stop this last leg.
