Agree about transparency — well said. “The sign” reflects poor judgment on a number of levels. With respect to “the sign,” it needs to come down. “The sign” should become a major issue in future elections. Every candidate for GA office should be asked their position on the ‘glowing trash on a stick’ in the middle of our beautiful village. It is not only ugly and sets a terrible precedent (not to mention unnecessary, wasteful, etc.), but it is very unsafe (distracting) in an area with heavy car and pedestrian traffic. Reagan said, “Mr Gorbachev, tear down this wall!” Our mantra must be, “GA Township leadership, tear down this sign!”
