Timothy, you may well be right. Years ago my wife made a campaign donation to our incumbent senator’s campaign fund, largely because her position in Washington gave her influence over healthcare legislation. Of course, that meant we would be on all Democratic donor lists which could then be cross-matched with our IP address on the internet. I know it sounds like “tin foil hat” paranoia. But who knowsthese days.
As I promised to myself, I went the State’s online political contribution website. There was nothing that struck me as unusual or that I wouldn’t find oh O’Malley’s list of donors. I did see that a relative in Alaska had donated her services for website development. She obviously skilled in this area and I would find interesting any book or story on how political campaigns are done with the aid of the internet.
I am so tired of this election and everyone’s attack ads against each other and the opposition party. The only saving grace I guess is that the ads have kept Christmas ads from appearing on TV and the internet, at least until tomorrow. Then it be all about giving expensive jewelry and cars to your wife, just as Christ would have wanted.
