I understand and, frankly, agree with the Sheriffs’ initial concerns, but I feel that they were duped and used by Representative O’Malley and his highly partisan colleagues who are trying to elevate their political status by attacking and attempting to discredit Governor Whitmer at every opportunity, including bringing a lawsuit that anyone with even a modicum of legal training knew was a loser. The Sheriffs should have approached the AG’s Office with their concerns, not someone who is an active participant in a group of publicity-seeking clowns who appear to have little concern about the health and welfare of their constituents
