Downtown (all 3 blocks of it) is a cyclists disaster during the summer. Tourists in town fight for parking spots so that don’t have to walk more than 5 ft. The tourists cross the street without looking for cars or bikes and then open car doors without checking their mirrors for on-coming traffic.
On the other hand literature being distributed for Phase II appears to show the trail coming into town on 109 then turning right on M-22, left on State and then left again on South Oak to get back on M-22.
