NO AIR WALK
The only way to preserve the natural beauty of any area is by keeping it natural and undeveloped, and by taking care of the water, air and land for future generations. We already have many opportunities to experience the scenic views of our National Park “up close” on trails and beaches.
If the air walk development is allowed, it will open the doors and fuel more development because once started, it cannot be stopped. Areas like the south rim of the Grand Canyon and Gatlinburg, Tennessee also started out as beautiful natural areas, but look what they turned into: shopping, dining and recreational tourist traps.
We don’t need more man-made places to WOW us! We need more natural areas to experience and appreciate the beauty of the earth as God created it.
Please think about your motives if you are considering approving, building or supporting this project. How much more money do you really need in your pockets, and is it worth it? In the end, you can’t take the money with you, and consider the legacy you will leave for those that follow.
