As property owners just around the corner from this proposed site, I can think of nothing worse than 500 cars a day traipsing through our neighborhood. Cars, buses, trash, noise pollution, gift shop, restaurant …..I can think of nothing worse in our, and here is the key, RESIDENTIAL area. None if this is conducive to quiet peaceful living that we treasure. We bought our property because we never dreamed such a thing would happen here. I agree that 8-10 family homes is much preferred, and not an unexpected us of this land. The idea of tourist attraction is abhorrent .
We all agree that this is a beautiful area. We believe that caring residents are the best means of preservation. Don’t let this man fool you. He is about profit. We are adjacent to a huge National Lakeshore that already serves the multitudes. This proposed eyesore is unnecessary and detrimental to our quiet country road.
